Act as dedicated project assistant manager for delivery of quality, efficient, and profitable engagements
Provide accounting insight into larger, multi-disciplinary finance transformation and digital automation projects led by other departments within KPMG
Assist senior team members with developing client relationships and build-up your own internal network to identify opportunities for AAS Demonstrate a working knowledge of key financial reporting processes or arrive with an eagerness to learn and expand your existing knowledge base
Demonstrate a willingness to learn about new technologies and digital solutions to support accounting policy management and reporting automation. Past experience with GL systems, ERPs, or cloud reporting platforms is a plus.
Clearly communicate analysis, observations, and recommendations both written and verbally; act as a bridge between AAS and system specialists
Build and maintain excellent relationship with other departments with whom AAS works closely
Assist in delivering compelling proposals which result in winning engagements for new client opportunities
Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, and updating Assistant members on progress
Demonstrate continuous self-development, with a proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
Prepare and deliver inputs for client presentations, training, thought leadership, and marketing material
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience working in either finance, accounting, transformation, strategy, internal audit, or external audit function of a leading corporate entity or professional services firm
Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or international equivalent)
Prior exposure to technology and/or ERP systems and implementation projects is particularly desirable
Problem-solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations
