Job Description

This role is central to the business as you will be the first point of contact for both customers and colleagues. Working closely with the Operations Department and Sales team you will also be responsible for producing and following up on all preventative maintenance service-related quotations.

  • Arranging the shipment of accessory items to customer sites
  • Following up with customers who have materials loaned on a try before you buy basis, to arrange either for a purchase order to be raised or for the items to be returned
  • Processing of service-related and accessory purchase orders
  • Following up contract quotations
  • Generating repair quotations and organizing parts for repairs
  • Raising work reports to send to customers post service
  • Providing support to the Technical Service Coordinator with scheduling activities for the field-based service team
  • Preparation of Installation documentation when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate must have a strong customer service background and experience working within a commercial environment. You must be able to priorities your time and workload and have strong organizational skills. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, or another CRM system is desirable, and experience of Sage 50 is an advantage but not essential.
