Job Description

This international import and distribution company based in Ilford, Essex seeks a part qualified/finalist Accountant to join its busy finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to take a step up in terms of experience, duties and progression. Duties will include:

• Accounting for multi-currency treasury transactions
• Assisting and overseeing and reporting on all activities of the business as directed by the FC
• Financial analysis of financial data
• Reconciling multi bank accounts in sterling and euros
• Complex VAT returns
• Managing sales and purchase ledgers
• Liaison with sales and operational personnel
