The Junior Financial Controller key responsibilities include:
Oversee an efficient, cost effective book and record keeping process.
Collate internal payroll and employee information, liaising with the external provider to ensure smooth running of the payroll process and relevant filings with HMRC.
Overseeing supplier and other payments processes and producing cash flow forecasts.
Calculation and submission of VAT returns for all companies in the group.
Production of timely, accurate management accounts for trading entities along with relevant project specific reports.
Oversight and management of statutory accounts preparation in line with filing deadlines.
Assisting the directors and investors with various ad hoc duties and reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Junior Financial Controller must be
ACA/ACCA qualified
Well organised and process led but with the ability to be reactive and flexible when needed
