Job Description
  • Timely cash collection from both Facilities Management and Security Services customers
  • Invoicing our customers accurately and on-time, per the contract, for both contractual and extra-to-contract works.
  • Building strong relationships with customer finance teams and operational and commercial teams.
  • Full responsibility for all credit control activity but not limited to the below
  • Cash collection inflows and debtor ageing targets
  • Regular reporting on cash collection, debtor ageing and issues arising
  • Reconciling the debtors ledgers to the sales accounts in the Nominal Ledger, ensuring invoices are correctly allocated to correct sites and contracts
  • Close and effective relationships with customer finance teams to enable queries to be addressed and effective processes to be operated to ensure that cash is received in line with credit terms.
  • Creation and issue of sales invoices accurately and on time, in-line with invoicing schedules and the requirements of the Commercial Finance business partners.
  • Processing of credit notes in-line with company policy
  • Issue of monthly customer statements
  • Daily reconciliation of banking receipts and all associated debtors ledger maintenance
  • Support for other finance activities as required

  • Demonstrable and successful experience in a credit control role
  • Proactive
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and desire to find solutions

  • Excel skills
