Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:
- Improving the control environment of the business covering the key financial processes from revenue cycle, Accounting and Controls, Purchase cycle and their respective Managers / Supervisors.
- Provide leadership and development to the team
- Recommend and implement capability improvements required to meet the business needs.
- Working closely with the MD of finance to support the integration
- Manage the accurate submission to the group for forecasts and actual results
- Oversee the relationship with external audit
- Work with group finance in both Europe and the US to ensure transparency and credibility
- Working with the wider operations and IT leadership to improve information flow and provide insight into business performance
- Adopt and ensure adherence to process and policy (finance, procurement and legal)
- Deputise for the MD of finance when required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Key Requirements include
- Track record of managing a finance function and will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills.
- Have experience of managing a diverse team ensuring the team develop and grow
- Be able to effectively communicate with all levels within the company and the wider group
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse data and turn into meaningful information
