Job Description

You’ll assist with a variety of finance and data tasks to ensure our adult learning programme meets key indicators and levels of performance and contractual compliance. You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator apprentice standard. You will also be required to study for and achieve a Level 2 Qualification in Mathematics and English if you do not already have these qualifications.

Key responsibilities will include.

  • Working within the Finance and Data team supporting both the multiply programme and ESFA funded delivery.
  • Processing and ensuring accuracy in the recording of course and learner data and producing reports from the team’s Management Information System (Terms)
  • Checking data integrity and accuracy prior to the creation of monthly funding claims
  • Supporting the Quality Manager in the production of monthly performance reports
  • Supporting the Finance and Data Manager with the daily financial transactions in SAP; creating Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt actions.
  • Supporting the Contract Management team with subcontractor audits.
  • Providing cover for colleagues as and when required, ensure and maintain good customer relationship, ensuring tasks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of administration processes and systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • GCSE or equivalent English and Math (Grade 4-9) is desirable
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient IT skills with experience of MS Office particularly Excel
  • Logical, have enthusiasm and the desire to learn
  • Ability to priorities workload
