Key member of the Finance leadership team, contributing to the department strategy and vision.
Provide leadership and direction through your direct reports, accountable for the performance of a critical team in the Finance function covering a wide variety of disciplines (accounting, reporting, treasury, financial operations)
Oversee all company accounts and investments, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in accordance with the relevant standards and that statutory deadlines are always met
Implement an effective reporting system that captures all critical financial data to report financial and operational KPIs.
Appropriate requirements and quality will to be delivered for non-financial metrics through close work with the Programme Management Office team and relevant divisions, requiring strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
End to end ownership for monthly reporting, delivering high quality, clear and appropriate outputs for audiences ranging from cost Centre mangers through to the Board.
Build the team's understanding of the business and work closely with the Commercial Finance to ensure longer term implications are well understood
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong financial control and accounting experience
Demonstrable team leadership experience
Experience of managing large teams
Significant process improvement experience
Strong Capex / working capital experience
Experience of working in mid / large corporate business environments
