Job Description
Supports the Street Works Manager as necessary with specific responsibility for delivering competent Streetworks and Reinstatement administration and control, in particular in respect of:
The compliant delivery of Street Works pursuant to Cadent’s obligations under the New Roads and Street Works Act and the Traffic Management Act
Investigation of FPN’s received in relation to Street Work noticing administration, permit breaches and working without a permit.
Investigation of Section 74 charges and collating of all relevant documentation and evidence to provide a full root cause analysis for all received.
Investigation of GSOP2 charges and collating of all relevant documentation and evidence to provide a full root cause analysis for all received.
Administration of reinstatement from site inclusive of registrations to the Highways
Raising permits for major works via Cadent systems ensuring NRSWA compliance
Management of comments to and from Highway authorities
Management of inhouse systems including instructions/requests received from site
Administration of defects, including raising and managing permits
To ensure any comments received relating to Charging started are closed out efficiently with a full audit trail.
Compiling of MI to provide an accurate reflection of Cadent’s financial liabilities relating to Section 74 and FPN charges.
Running and monitoring MI performance to ensure KPI’s are met and liability is minimised
Provision of business reports as necessary.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience in NRSWA administration and knowledge of Street Manager system within a relevant organisation is helpful but not a necessity
IT literate with functional knowledge of MS Office programs in particular Excel
Capable of developing a functional knowledge of and thereafter competently using Cadent’s IT systems
