Preparation of month-end and annual statutory financial statements
Take ownership of VAT and tax reporting requirements for assigned entities
Review accounting topics of subsidiary companies for compliance with GAAP and Intrado policies
Responsible for ensuring the correct transfer pricing is recorded in each legal entity
Analytical review of monthly management accounts, setting expectations, investigating variances and explaining balances
Participate in the coordination of accounting functions between business segments and divisions
Main audit contact for assigned entities
Review of team’s work, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journals and signing off on accounts assigned
Promote employee development by establishing performance measures that encourage employees to excel
Continuously review the effectiveness of current operations, striving to identify improvements to current processes
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CCAB recognised qualification Comparable experience with a large, multinational organization or managing complex, varied accounts Ability to gain buy-in on any decisions taken and changes made to meet the needs of the business and develop strong stakeholder relationships Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of line management Advanced knowledge of Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to demonstrate up to date technical knowledge through relevant CPD Experience working in an accounting practice would be advantageous but not essential Practical working knowledge of US GAAP or IRFS would be advantageous
