Job Description

Due to expansion, this newly created opportunity will report into the Financial Accountant and have exposure across all the brands the business owns. Responsibilities include:

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation including adjustments and resolution of issues
• Intercompany reconciliation across all the brands globally
• Accruals & Prepayments, along with fixed asset register including depreciation calculation
• UK Vat Returns, French VAT returns as well as finalizing postings
• Working to strict month end deadlines
• AR reporting, including analysis of royalties and leases
• Assisting with audits and year-end

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have at least two years’ previous experience accounting and be in the final stages of studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)- is it essential you have taken an exam in the past 6 months to be considered. Knowledge of SAP is highly advantageous. Previous experience working in the Retail sector would be beneficial but not essential.
