Proactively challenge performance and drive change to ensure key operational and financial targets are achieved or beaten; add value, highlight risks, and support development of mitigation plans by providing appropriate analysis and insight
Build and maintain effective working relationships across teams, acts as financial "go to person" for business stakeholders, and improves understanding and compliance with business and financial processes
Provides forward looking financial information to key stakeholders and the CFO, leading regular business review meetings to deliver insight and identify risks and opportunities
Instigate investigation into variance analysis, deep dives and establishing root cause of causes of issue
Leads budgeting, forecasting and the planning cycle for the business areas
Build, maintain and continually develop a set of weekly / periodic KPI reports to drive business performance
Supports business with in-depth analysis and assist with formulating long-term strategic business plans for the business area
Review, challenge and prioritise investment cases, and ensure benefit commitments are delivered
Explore scenarios and options for driving improved outcomes / performance
Support and drive ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent)
Stakeholders management: experience of business partnering and influencing (advance)
Excellent Excel financial modelling skills
Oracle Fusion or similar experience
Experience in process improvements and automation
Outcome focused: ability to prioritise key activities
