Supporting and mentoring the accounts team leaders (Management Accountant, CC Manager, Pay & Bill Manager, Process & Implementation Analyst, Senior Pay & Bill Assistant) with motivating, hiring and managing of all accounts team staff including setting SMART objectives identifying training and adhering to company policies.
Policies & Procedures – implementing internal controls, maintaining and review.
Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Ensuring compliance with regulations. Examples IR35 and Umbrella Compliance.
Maintaining healthy relationships between company departments working closely with sales and compliance. Supporting sales growth by providing a high functioning accounts team and a high level of customer service.
Recommending ways of cutting costs and investing where appropriate.
Working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High level of Excel needed for reporting elements.
Outstanding people management skills needed.
Strong finance lead in industry and operational finance.
ACCA or CIMA
Proven experience in finance management
Good communication skills
Good understanding of business and financial issues
