Job Description
  • Be the first point of contact for all incoming emails and calls to the company
  • Be the primary contact and systems administrator for all queries related to the company's HR Systems
  • Ensure all employee records are kept up to date and accurate at all times
  • Creation of employee records
  • Assisting the HR manager with regular compliance checks
  • Assisting with the review and updating of company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the administration of the on-boarding lifecycle: - writing and advertising roles, organisation and attendance of interviews, issuing offers and the administration of offer documentation.
  • Responsible for employment checks including but not limited to right to work, DBS, Occupational health, Qualifications and Referencing checking.
  • Organisation and provision of inductions for new employees
  • Carrying out the administration for leavers, exit interviews and paperwork
  • Logging contractual and personal detail changes across all systems
  • Administration related to maternity, paternity, adoption leave etc.
  • Any other adhoc administration as and when required.
  • Escalating any Employee relations queries or issues to HR manager and outsourced HR support company
  • Provide cover to head office, including but not limited to answering telephone calls and greeting visitors
  • Support the HR manager with project work throughout the year

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications and experience required:

  • HR experience desirable
  • CIPD level 3 desirable
  • Administration experience is essential
  • Basis ER and Employment Law knowledge is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent in the use of Word, Excel, Office and Outlook
  • Quick learner with the ability to become a system super user
  • Effective Time Management
  • Ability to communicate across various functions and at all levels
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a can do attitude
  • Reliable and discreet
  • Flexible and cooperative
  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment
  • Accountable
