As the Finance Officer, you’ll support the Financial Controller in effective and efficient financial processing, financial controls, financial reporting and monitoring of our UK expenditure.
You will maintain a close working relationship with UK employees and support the Finance Officer (Expenditure) during periods of absence.
Your role will also involve:
Processing donations and ensuring payments are banked in a timely manner
Completing reconciliations in relation to banking, finance systems and balance sheets
Undertaking a wide variety of financial admin tasks including updating donor information, backing up financial systems, reporting large donations and maintaining Gift Aid forms
Producing monthly reports for all donations across all areas of our organisation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least three years’ hands-on experience in financial accounting Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English Experience of charity accounting and knowledge of such requirements Previous experience of individual donor administration and management Strong experience with MS Excel and integrated multi-ledger accounting systems
