Job Description
  • Undertake general administration for the Centre, including scanning, photocopying, printing, and filing various documents
  • Letter writing and record keeping including data entry and creating reports
  • Meet and greet external visitors, acting as the first port of call for the centre
  • Support staff with phone cover, redirecting calls and taking messages as appropriate
  • Assist with the Health and Safety of the building, including liaising with external bodies such as site management to arrange building inspections
  • Carry out first aid and fire safety equipment checks and keeping the site H&S book up to date.
  • Assist with any stock or supply orders where necessary
  • Assist with social media and fundraising activity
  • Provide I.T support to the team at the Centre
  • Gain a basic knowledge of payroll and finance relating to the Centre so that you can provide support to the Centre manager in these areas
  • Attend meetings with the Centre manager as appropriate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • English and Math GCSE Grade C or above
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good organization skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate with basic IT skills including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally, with a good telephone manner
  • A can-do attitude with a positive outlook
  • Flexible approach to work and reacts well to change
  • An eagerness to learn and develop, and undertake additional training if required
