Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the Sales team along with our Retail and Project partners through relationship building, acting as ambassadors to our customers through order management, managing customer queries and resolving any complaints that may arise through the appropriate interventions. You will enhance the customer experience through excellent service and attention to detail, increasing brand loyalty via all forms of customer communication channels.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting our Business Development Managers / Business Account Managers
  • Minimizing the number of escalated calls through effective after sales support
  • Work within legal requirements affecting the business, including legislation of GDPR, Sale of Goods Act and Distance Selling Regulation.
  • To ensure that our customer obligations to this are fulfilled
  • Promote and maintain good relationships between us and our recognized partners.
  • Dealing with orders, checking stock availability, product advice etc
  • Be responsible for order accuracy and delivery targets as directed by the Team Manager.
  • Liaise with Product Management, Logistics, Procurement, BDMs, NAMs and Key Account Managers to enable the fulfilment of orders and resolve queries
  • To resolve specific and general enquiries depending on the need of the customer
  • Support our projects with a variety of administrative tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous administrative experience gained in a role where you have developed new skills and had to show flexibility and prioritization.
  • A good grasp of IT systems and the ability to pick up and follow processes
  • A positive attitude and passion for developing your longer-term career with us at Miele
  • Any experience gained in Order processing systems, particularly SAP would be really advantageous
