Other key responsibilities will include compiling electronic files required for the French intrastat report, which include import declarations, CMR’s or PODs and haulier invoices and checking and lodging additional documentation for items with import controls, to the appropriate regulatory body within the regulated time frame and in the format required including the completion of CHEDS and PDDs.
They are looking to recruit a number of people with experience within this sector and as an accomplished import or export administrator you will be involved in obtaining quotes from hauliers for shipping costs for each order and booking with the most applicable one whilst issuing Customs Barcodes for hauliers to allow passage via the Dover Calais smart Border Crossing.
