Job Description

The role will ideally suit a qualified Chartered Accountant who has had experience in the preparation of accounts, with a variety of clients in the Financial Services sector. In this role, you will assist the team in the daily and monthly accounting cycle with a focus on the daily P&L.
Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of daily P&L and detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform accounting and reporting activities throughout the month
• Validation and reconciliation of monthly results
• Assist annual budgeting process
• Assist with local annual audits and financial accounts
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• UK or overseas Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or equivalent)
• Extensive knowledge of daily product accounting for commodity derivatives and physical metals
• Sound technical skills
