Job Description
The key parts of this role:
* Be responsible for the company's accounting and finance function
* Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
* Work with the MD to prepare the annual budget and 12 month rolling forecasts for both P&L and Balance sheet
* Responsible for the full month end closing process including preparation of monthly reporting pack and submission
* Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash/working capital management.
* Responsible for statutory reporting, taxes and overseeing external and internal audits
* Ensure that the regulatory requirements (including GDPR) of all statutory bodies are met
* Ensure compliance with /Group policies and procedures. Ensure all expenditure is approved in accordance with approved authority limits.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Professional accounting qualification required; ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* A background as a management accountant
* At least three years experience in a similar role
* Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
* Experienced with group level reporting within international organisations
* Experience working in an SME would be beneficial
* Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
* Ability to effectively work on and manage many priorities at the same time
* Excellent Excel skills
