Responsible for the functional operation and full support of the Chelmsford GLP laboratories and associated functions. This includes procurement, facilities management, Health & safety, and line management of the laboratory support team.
Member of the Management team and contribute to wide ranging initiatives relating to the smooth and successful operation of the business
Management of procurement process for laboratory equipment and reagents including the maintenance of adequate available levels of chemicals, consumables, clean glassware etc
Management and responsibility for laboratory/site Health and Safety practices and implementation of H&S procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Several years’ experience in a regulated laboratory environment support role
Qualified to BSc level or higher in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic and Analytical Science or a similar scientific subject
Prior experience of health and safety in a laboratory environment
