Job Description

Your role will support the team to undertake commissioning activity through the provision of effective, responsive and timely administrative support. Duties will include producing quality typed material (e.g., letters, reports, agendas and minutes), arranging meetings and diary management, raising purchase orders through the Council’s SAP/SRM system, maintaining databases (e.g. spreadsheets of financial records, contact details etc.) and dealing with internal and external enquiries.

You will be a key point of contact for the team and will engage with a range of stakeholders including customers, careers, providers and health and local authority colleagues. We are looking for someone who is organized and can help the team to be organized too.

You will have sound literacy, numeracy and IT skills with previous experience in a similar role. ideally in a social care setting. You will have experience of administering financial transactions, (although not essential as training can be provided). You will be a good team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, great communication and interpersonal skills and a professional approach to your work.
