Job Description
The role:
* Working closely alongside a Plant Manager to coordinate all activities on site to ensure HSE compliance
* Planning and implementing maintenance schedule and updating colleagues on work progress
* Implementing and maintaining asset management system and managing costings of site projects/modifications
* Carrying out risk assessments for maintenance and unplanned works
* Taking responsibility for all maintenance staff on site including personnel development
* Liaising with contractors and ensuring RAMS and permits-to-work are in place prior to works
* Monitoring and analysing plant performance and addressing inefficiencies/issues where necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Educated to Degree or HNC/HND level in Engineering subject
* IOSH qualification or similar
* Experience working in an industrial process, production or power plant
* Experience working in a supervisory or management role covering engineering/maintenance/technical works
* Experience with planning, implementing and managing PPM system
* Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma knowledge
* Full UK driving license
