Job Description

The purpose of the Trainee Project Manager will be to support the projects team on ensuring all projects come in on time and within quality margins. This would suit someone who has a degree within mechanical / electrical engineering and is keen to be involved with design work as well as build relationships on site with contractors etc.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Producing CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Attending design & project co-ordination meetings with clients, consultants and main contractors.
• Managing the project budgets and arranging the procurement of component parts.
• Managing and co-ordinating subcontractors.
• Document control and management, including the production of operation and maintenance manuals.
• Compiling health and safety packs for installations including the development of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Attending construction sites and live buildings to install Building Maintenance Units, carrying out quality audits and site surveys.
