Job Description
What you'll be doing
- Analysis and documentation of significant transaction, technical accounting issues and including new accounting pronouncements
- Leading technical assessment of accounting for new products, operational changes, or other strategic initiatives
- Equity accounting, including stock based compensation and other financing transactions
- Preparation of financial statements, including supporting disclosures, and coordination of audits
- Establishing and maintaining effective internal controls over financial reporting
- Primary accounting user for key financial tools, including current and legacy systems
- Supporting the global accounting close
- Providing guidance and reviewing work of other accountants as needed
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Controller, CFO and VP of Finance
Needed competences
- Strong IFRS acumen and understanding of different aspects of accounting and financial reporting
- Ability to research and interpret accounting guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions
- Proven experience, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes
- Detail-oriented, but also having generalisation skills
- The ability to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure and focus under pressure and deadline.
- "Can-do" attitude and ability to prioritise and deliver
- Strong team player, but also able to work independently
- Tech-savvy and have an eye for details
Experience
- 3+ years' experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- 5+ years' experience in technical accounting, a public company experience within the high-technology industry a plus
- Experience collaborating with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, Operations, Regulatory and other key business partners is a must

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Higher education in Finance, Accounting or Economics Experience with different accounting softwares and BI tools, Workday and Adaptive Insight is a plus Excellent English skills
