Job Description

A rapidly growing London market insurance company is currently recruiting for a Finance Operations Analyst who will report directly to the Financial Controller.
As the Finance Operations Analyst the successful applicant will be the key contact between Finance and Operations with ownership of key hand-offs between the business and Finance.
You will ensure that financial controls operate effectively and that deadlines are met, perform an integral role in the collateral process, particularly in assessing collateral requirements for letters of credit, completion of Operations’ components of regulatory reporting requests, participate in the financial review of brokers, coverholders and reinsurers plus liaising with underwriting and data teams to ensure key financial data is captured appropriately and consistently.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicants must be fully qualified accountants with excellent knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance industry and contracts, possess a strong conceptual skillset and ability to understand business flows and interconnectivity across functions, have superior communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and an enthusiasm to work in a dynamic environment. Any experience of Sequel would be a real advantage.
