Job Description
  • Actively lead the smooth transition of supply chain due to acquisition, in-licensing or new product launch Supply Chain Acquisition Team to do a smooth transition of supply chain of the new products from previous vendors’ CMOs or CDOs to company own network of CMOs ensuring products are delivered 'Right First Time and 100% on Time’.
  • Work closely with the CMOs, Global demand planning & fulfilment and Logistics Team, Quality, Regulatory, Artwork to solve issues related to API supply, bulk manufacturing or packaging and implement process to continuously improve on efficiency whilst ensuring the highest standard of GMDP is maintained.
  • Identify improvement areas before building business cases and engaging with relevant stakeholders to obtain their engagement and buy-in to develop a new tool and/or propose a plan of action which will contribute towards our innovation, performance and priorities.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Data team to set up, validate the master data on company ERP & co-ordinate the same in the new CMO’s ERP.
  • Work closely with the Global demand planning & fulfilment Team to ensure the post transition market-by-market demand & future supply management of the assigned products were transferred to them in a structured & disciplined way.
  • Build robust decision-making framework & implement this for large value bridging stock purchases
  • Input all demand information onto CMO’s planning system within the agreed timeframe making sure production slots are secured & deliveries happen 'on time in full (OTIF)’.
  • Monitor the CMO capacities, free capacity & offered capacity regularly and utilise the free slots or prioritise the orders to company advantage depending on the demand change.
  • Build and maintain the rapport with the divestment partners
  • Understand all Supply Chain Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), complex supply chain data flows and be able to interrogate data to support improvement and drive to solution.
  • Provide accurate and robust data and reports, draw insights from data and making recommendations to senior management to enable effective business decisions.
  • Coach & develop a highly capable team of Supply Chain Acquisition & Integration experts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and Sales and Operations Planning processes
  • Coordinate the implementation of new product introduction within the S&OP process ensuring all key activities are completed on time to meet launch dates.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to a Degree level (or higher).
  • Experience working within the life sciences sector; S&OP, Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly numerate with experience working in an analytical position.
  • Sound time management skills.
  • Strong networking, planning and organisational skills with demonstrated capability to manage complex projects with short timeline.
