Reporting to the IT Director the post is responsible for the provision, technical support, administration, and day-to-day management and continual improvement of the IT infrastructure (including but not limited to servers, networks, telephony systems, data storage, security, and mobile systems), including implementation, functionality, monitoring, and security.
Management of the day-to-day operations of the IT Infrastructure Team ensuring an effective, efficient, and best-value IT service is provided whilst also acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), for audits, escalations, projects, and support. The post requires the delivery of a high level of customer service and proactive support to our end-user community and stakeholders, supporting them in both office and field-based locations
.Assist the IT Director with the development and implementation of local IT strategies, including the preparation of business cases to support the need for additional resources and new or enhanced systems using industry best practices and continual improvement methodology.
Provide IT technical advice and guidance to the business, acting as an SME. This may take the form of meetings, formal reports, or informal communications.
