Job Description
  • Provide global import/export expertise for all areas of the company's LCL operations
  • Negotiating and pricing contracts, transportation, and handling costs to meet margin requirements and ensure maximum profitability.
  • Pre-Shipment management of all client's bookings within the LCL and sales team.
  • Monitor's operation performance against financial goals, review progress regularly with Director, and communicates progress regularly with staff.
  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Track both time keeping, attendance of staff, & booking annual leave maintaining adequate cover for positions and ensuring that the Executive Assistant is updated.
  • Training of staff to ensure that they are, continuously developed and able to fulfil their roles. Using our internal SOP's, you will develop and keep updated training materials for your department.
  • Complete checks of team files/paperwork ensuring all documents are accounted for in line with any external auditing requirements. Ensures that billing is completed within the correct accounting period.
  • Attend internal & external meetings when required. Usually, every 6 weeks management meet off site for lunch.
  • Recommends process improvements that will create the most efficiency while maintaining service expectations. Works in partnership with the AEO Officer and other department managers to map processes to create guidance materials.
