Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience of branch management within the builders merchant and construction supplies / building material distribution sector or within an associated sector - DIY, trade, retail.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
• Strong people management skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Strong knowledge of interior building products, insulation or heavy side building materials (would be beneficial but by no means essential)
• Successful track record of branch management within the construction supply sector
