Job Description
* To lead the development and provision of mandatory training process and programmes
* To maintain and improve mandatory training compliance figures across all training subjects
* To work closely with subject matter experts, professional development leads, trainers and the Head of Risk Management to ensure that mandatory training needs are identified for all staff groups and that the mandatory training needs analysis is kept up to date
* To review and develop efficient and effective methods of recording making the best use of functionality offered across training recording and report systems to reduce manual administration
* To develop and implement processes to effectively monitor and record attendance at mandatory training and induction and to follow up on non-attendance
* Co-ordinate, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and report on employee discussion groups and forum
* Support managers in developing local employee engagement activities and plans and report on progress with these plans
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Experience of interpreting legislation and guidance relating to training and translating into local training plans
