Job Description

Due to a continued growth of the business over recent years, our client, based in North London, are looking for somebody to join to handle the purchase ledger and cashiering duties for the company.

You will be working with a small but experienced block management accounts team support the wider property management function. If you have purchase ledger experience are looking for a position in which you can continue to learn within the property industry then this could be a great opportunity.

The role will be varied across cashiering and purchase ledger duties, including:

  • Deal with supplier invoicing, preparing both electronic and postal invoices to input to the property management software
  • Barcode and scan supplier invoices
  • Weekly bank reconciliation
  • Post and bank cheque receipts daily
  • Transfer receipts from the Central account daily and advise on sub-account movements
  • Liaise with Credit Controllers, advising on any potential issues regarding outstanding arrears
  • Run fund transfer reports and clearance routine
  • Reconciliation of Client GL balances
  • Posting tenant demands
  • Other ad hoc duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience within purchase ledger, ideally within the real estate sector would be beneficial Proven track record of working collaboratively within teams Prior accounting experience is essential for this position Knowledge of the block management industry would be extremely advantageous
