Responsible for Gas Heating Engineers (Heating Services)
What you'll be doing
Develop work procedures that support the Operations Manager (Heating Services) in leading and effective and efficient team.
Responsible for delivering a building surveying capability for all CHP homes and other property assets, providing appropriate detailed reports as required
Undertake the domestic gas survey installation of new and existing domestic heating systems and related DHW cylinders and control in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, Gas safety Installation and use regulations 1998 act, Part J, Part L and Part P of the building regulations and CDM regulations 2015
Responsible for managing and supervising all heating services field operatives in conjunction with the Operations Manager, Senior Gas Administrator and Lead Engineer to a successful resolution all instances of property asset failure, specifically around structural integrity and disrepair
Responsible for installation planning, risk assessments, and delivery of works associated, out of hours rota and cover in conjunction with the Senior Gas Administrator, Lead Engineers.
What we are looking for
NVQ Level 3 / Craft Certificate in Domestic plumbing or relevant trade qualification
Gas related qualifications - Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, HWSS1
Strong experience of carrying out heating surveys and analysis defects, including writing reports with recommendations
Strong knowledge of housing asset management and building safety
Experience of delivering maintenance projects and refurbishments work to time, budget, and quality
Experience of leading external suppliers to a common, shared set of outcomes
Experience with CAD, Microsoft Visio technical draftsman software, Heatloss software experience.
