Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join their team during an incredibly exciting period of transformation. Having recently been acquired by a venture capital investment firm, they are experiencing a period of investment underpinned by ambitious growth targets.

Working closely with stakeholder across Product Management, Design, Engineering, Data, and Business groups, the Product Manager with be responsible for ideation, prioritization, and delivery of user stories and epics for the business.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing user stories from the product backlog based on current business objectives, operational capacity, and the evolving product roadmap
• Provide guidance and direction to the Scrum teams throughout each sprint
• Provide active feedback on the and sign off on completed work throughout the development lifecycle
• Liaise closely with the development team when it comes to release planning, functional research, and testing
• Present user stories to the product teams, lead backlog refinement, and design sessions, and confirm that functionality is aligned with acceptance criteria before sign-off

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have experience managing complex, high-performing teams delivering software development projects in an online, B2B retail environment. You will have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and ideally be an accomplished user of Agile methodologies. You will also be a highly effective written and verbal communicator who is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organization and ranging from highly technical to more business focused stakeholder groups.

• Comprehensive understanding of Product Management Lifecycle and Agile Development, ideally within ecommerce
• Proven dedication to a customer first approach
• Highly literate with outstanding presentation skills
• Rigorous, data-driven approach to decision-making with a focus on value-driven productization
• Superb project, process, and stakeholder management skillset
• Second language (Dutch, German, Spanish, French, or Italian) would be an advantage
