Job Description
- Creating New Master Items, both through Oracle Applications forms and the More4Apps Item Wizard tool.
- Assigning these new Items to organizations, through Oracle/More4Apps and apply appropriate Item Templates.
- Assigning Items to Planning/Inventory/Sourcing Categories.
- Maintaining Supply Chain Item Attributes - Lead Times, Order Modifiers, Revisions.
- Future adoption of BOMs for assemblies will require BOM Maintenance in line with Engineering.
- Item Costs and Price Lists (with Finance/Procurement)
- Adding Standard Costs to new Items.
- Maintaining Intercompany Price Lists in line with the Item Standard Costs
- Maintaining Item/Category Buyer Assignments.
- Maintaining Item Sourcing Rules and Sourcing Category Assignments.
- Maintaining Blanket Purchase Agreements, Approved Supplier Lists, Supplier Catalogs.
- Ensuring Inventory Transactions completed by Inventory Close at month end.
- Identifying missing Receipts/Shipping Transactions prior to Month End
- Data Processes.
- Supporting the development of new and improved Supply Chain MRP business processes, for example: New Item Introduction, Item Updates and Revisions.
- Forecast/BOM Change Control Process, including supporting Impact Assessments.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good functional understanding and familiarity with MRP systems (ideally Oracle Applications) - Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Costing modules.
- 2-5 years of supply chain experience, ideally within an MRP planning or data role.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of handling large data sets, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment - able to multitask with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines
- Excel/Google Sheets experience for data analysis and preparation.
- The ability to query the database via tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or other Ocado query tools.
