Job Description
  • Serve as a liaison between the Group's offices and the Security Management Team.
  • Administer access to offices via the Physical Access Control System (PACS) in accordance with procedures / SOPs, validate system checks, report & correct deficiencies.
  • Monitor alarms and respond in accordance with procedures and SOPs.
  • Monitor and conduct investigations using CCTV & Access Control Systems.
  • Assist in the training and development of new and existing employees as directed by line management.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service ensuring all are treated courteously and professionally at all times.
  • Provide the highest standards of work, written reports and site documentation and assist with ad-hoc requests.
  • Constantly strive for continuous improvement and deliver against Strategic Objectives.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing security operations and monitoring the safety and security of the group's employees, facilities and property, using Access Control, CCTV and alarm monitoring systems.
  • The Controller is required to detect, analyze and respond to situations, investigating issues and managing faults to a successful resolution.
  • Self-motivation, good teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential to the role, with the ability to thrive in a close, multi-discipline environment, be patient, courteous and have the ability to analyze customer's needs, whilst remaining calm in challenging situations.
  • Strong analytical skills are an advantage, with the ability to collate information and present analysis in a concise and effective manner.

Package

  • Days/Nights/Weekends (07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00)
  • 42 hours 4 on 4 off rolling roster
  • £14.36 per/hour

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Leadership skills/experience or a willingness to develop supervisory skills.
  • Front Line SIA license in Security Guarding (Essential) or Door Supervisor (Desirable) and CCTV License.
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to work competently in multiple system applications.
  • Excellent personnel management and client facing skills.
  • Previous experience of operating and administrating Access Control Systems.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and follow a wide range of procedures and processes, and an alert, inquisitive and pro-active mindset.
  • An individual that is customer focused, with the ability to build and maintain effective, professional working relationships with all, client, staff and visitors.
  • Full 5 year checkable employment / academic history.
  • Previous experience working within and administrating a security team in a corporate environment.
  • First Aid qualified.
