Job Description
The role will involve providing a first class administrative support function to the transport planner, team leaders, supervisor and internal and external customers whilst ensuring all vehicles are loaded/ dispatched in line with customer orders, build requirements and stock priority, delivery times and dates.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce all dispatch paperwork for outbound loads and complete all transactions on the SAP system.
- Manage all enquires through to completion and satisfaction whether received by phone call, e-mail or in person.
- Ensure any alteration to the shipping plan is effectively communicated back to the internal contacts within the business.
- Liaise with production, planning and fulfilment to ensure the shipping process is seamless and all targets are achieved.
- Ensure all invoices from suppliers are checked diligently before being submitted to the Transport Team Leader for authorization.
- Ensure all transport and dispatch data is recorded accurately and on time.
- Deal with any other general office duties that may arise.
- Keep an orderly and tidy work environment.
