Job Description

This Product Controller role with our client, a Private Hedge Fund manager, is perfect for someone from a banking or hedge fund background with experience of daily P&L production.

This role will provide a good opportunity to:

• Gain strong experience of daily P&L production across various trading desks
• Work closely with cross functional teams and the fund administrator ensure delivery of an accurately and timely P&L
• Interact regularly with senior Front Office staff and management
• Engage in project work including – trading requests, management requests, improving the process, set up of new products / desks / trading lines
• Develop knowledge of both internal and external reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience of daily P&L production, ideally at a bank or hedge fund, with experience of Fixed Income products
• Strong degree grades and a strong interest in financial markets
• The ability to balance the needs of all stakeholders, change from one process to another quickly and handle various ad-hoc requests
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence when communicating across all levels and functional groups and senior management
