Develop effective working relationships through the provision of timely advice and knowledge.
Provide expert HR advice to deliver the best outcome by influencing and challenging managers.
Provide coaching and mentoring to line managers, help them to improve management capability and enable them to self-serve
Work in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partner to deliver strategic business goals
Lead on organizational change initiatives: organisational / departmental restructures / job role design / outsourcing / TUPE transfers redundancy situations.
Provide telephone and face to face advice to managers on all HR matters: disciplinary and grievance, absence and capability/performance management, maternity, paternity and adoption leave
UK travel to other Company offices as required
Stay on top of developments in employment legislation and human resources, sharing knowledge to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIPD qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience, ideally within a financial services environment.
Educated to degree level standard or equivalent with High level knowledge of employment law and sound knowledge of HR policies
Ability to use Oracle or similar HR systems
Proven track record of managing multiple employee relations
Experience of resolving employee relations issues that present a risk to the organisation, instructing or influencing those leading on the issue on the appropriate approach
Happy in a fast moving complex environment, delivering service perfection and dealing with difficult situations quality service to customers
Ability to make effective decisions in the absence of complete information, ensuring things can move forward while further analysis is conducted
Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communicator with outstanding emotional intelligence and engagement to gain trust quickly.
Ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
