Job Description
  • Analysis of operations /regions and sectors
  • Opportunity to travel overseas occasionally
  • Consolidating group accounts/commercial
  • Good opportunity for oversight and exposure to all departments within the finance role
  • Progression opportunities with Groups rapid expansion
  • Exposure to external and international auditors/banks.
  • Assist in preparation of consolidated year-end statutory accounts
  • Assist in preparation of management accounts and bank packs
  • Supervision of the Accounts team.
  • Manage cost recovery
  • Maintain the group fixed asset register
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Review bank/revenue reconciliations
  • Reconcile inter-company transactions
  • Oversee the Payroll processing for weekly employees
  • Oversee the Sales ledger and purchase ledger processing
  • Cash book entries
  • Ad-hoc reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA – fully qualified with 3 years post qualification experience
  • Candidates must have excellent Excel skills/analytical skills
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Accounting experience in construction would be beneficial, not essential
  • Coins software knowledge preferable
  • Attention to detail
