Our mission is to develop confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions. We work in partnership with young people, their families and carers and other stakeholders to achieve outcomes which make a difference. Kedleston looks for people who have the ability to rise to the challenges needed to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people they support. They welcome and nurture staff through the organisation's training provision. They seek leaders who are creative, motivated and focused and who can lead their teams to deliver the best education and care support. The Kedleston teaching and support staff teams are led by head teachers, principals and their deputies alongside the organisation's senior support and management team. Kedleston offers staff a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training to ensure they are provided with the best possible start to their employment. Equally important are the support roles of kitchen staff, housekeepers, gardeners, general assistants, administrators and other ancillary staff who make the Kedleston provisions run smoothly. Each of the schools and homes are unique and have their own sense of community, this is attributed to the drive, professionalism and passion of all who work within them.
