About Us
Barcud Shared Services was created in 2012 by a group of four Welsh large-scale voluntary transfer (LSVT) housing organizations seeking a more tailored, cost effective and value adding Internal Audit service. Due to its success and the need to provide services to a wider breadth of organizations, the Members formed Barcud Shared Services Limited, which started trading on 1st September 2019. It is overseen by a Board made up of the Company’s Members and is open to new Members. Astari Ltd was set up in September 2019 and is a subsidiary of Barcud Shared Services. Through Astari Ltd the team are already working with a wider range of clients from various sectors, providing both full Internal Audit services as well as ad-hoc services, tailored to meet the needs of our clients. Our registered offices are located within Cardiff and we work with clients across Wales and the South-West of England.
