At Hamberley, our carers are so much more – they are Homemakers. A Homemaker is different from usual care roles. It is what we call a 'universal worker’ role, which means people are carers, housekeepers and companions all in one. Our Homemakers provide care and support for our residents, take care of the general day to day housework and be a friend and a companion. About Newton House Newton House in Newton Mearns is a purpose built, state of the art 113 bed luxury care home which opened in December 2018. The Home offers luxurious living coupled with an innovative approach to truly personalized care.
