About Us

West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA) has been building homes and delivering key housing services to our tenants and owner occupiers for over 50 years. We put customers at the heart of everything we do. We have built a strong reputation for going further to provide excellent services. We provide around 3,600 tenanted homes and factor over 500 properties across the West of Scotland. We also plan to create 700 new homes, including Passivhaus and Mid-Market rent, by 2026. A community to us is more than just building and managing affordable homes; it is about creating safe, socially inclusive, thriving, vibrant communities where tenants want to live. Our strong social conscience is reflected in our work with our charitable subsidiary, Willowacre Trust, which provides a range of additional community and support services that have a positive impact on the lives of WSHA tenants and communities. Our new Westscot Living subsidiary will manage our Mid Market Rent homes. The Director of Finance is accountable to the Chief Executive and the Board for the development of the Association’s strategy, policy and performance in respect of Finance and IT Services and ensuring the overall financial wellbeing of West of Scotland Housing Association and its subsidiaries.
