Escada is a Global Fashion House specializing in Luxury Women's Designer Clothing. Established for over 40 years, it operates and has a high profile presence across North America, Europe and Asia. The Company's new owners, Regent LP, based in California, USA, are looking to take the business forward to an exciting new era. One aspect of Regent's future plan has been to establish Escada's Manchester Shared Service Centre as its Global Accounting Hub, to ensure accurate and timely Financial Reporting for all its relevant entities. An opportunity arises, therefore, due to further migration of Accounting Responsibilities to the SSC from its European Trading Entities. Operations within Continental Europe are transferring Accounting and Reporting responsibilities to the SSC.
