Kingston University (informally Kingston or KUL; formerly styled Kingston University London) is a public research university located in Kingston upon Thames, southwest London, United Kingdom. It was originally founded in 1899 and became a university in 1992.Campuses are located in Kingston and Roehampton. There is a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate work spread across five faculties, as well as some further education provisions. Our activities are student-centered and developed in conjunction with staff and students. Together we provide expert advice, guidance and initiatives that supports course teams to improve teaching quality. Our careers and employability function helps students acquire professional experience and be ready to hit the ground running when starting their careers. As a Directorate, we are service-oriented, honest and collaborative and use evidence-based approaches. We take a whole life cycle approach to student success to help improve student outcomes for students of all backgrounds.
