About Us
The Group purchasing function is a very distinct activity within the Delta Group, as it supports the procurement activities from a strategic and commercial perspective in delivering a diverse material supply solution to our business. The department sits within the Commercial team function with annual spend of circa £35-40M and has responsibilities across both the UK and Europe. The procurement team works with selected vendors, the general procurement function and on-site buying teams supporting with technical and commercial solutions for raw materials. The successful candidate will help drive and deliver continuous improvement and sustainable cost reduction, across a number of products whilst meeting the demands and tight deadlines of the procurement process.
