About Us

We’re First Central, an award-winning innovative insurance and technology organisation, delivering market-leading motor insurance, underwriting, distribution, finance, technology and legal services. Starting out in 2008 with just 62 employees, we’ve grown a lot and now employ around 600 people across our multiple locations – Guernsey, Gibraltar, West Sussex and Manchester. As a group, we have a number of companies, which include our underwriter, broker and personal injury claims specialists. Our motor insurance broker, 1st CENTRAL, has successfully built a customer base of over half a million and strives to make buying car insurance a more accessible and effortless experience, quickly making a name for itself in the world of UK motor insurance.
