As part of the application process you will be asked to provide a Statement of Suitability (up to 500 words) This should outline how you consider your skills, experience and achievements, provide evidence of your suitability for the role, with particular reference to the essential criteria outlined. You will also be asked to provide information within the ‘Employer/ Activity history’ section of the application form. This is equivalent to the information you would provide on a CV, setting out your career history (this will be used in sifting process and will be scored). STAGE 1 - APPLICATION & SIFT: You will be required to complete an application form. This will be assessed in line with the advertised criteria. If you are successful at this stage, you will progress to an interview STAGE 2 – INTERVIEW All candidates who are successful at the sift stage will undertake a single video interview. All applicants that progress to interview will be assessed on a mixture of Behaviours, Strength and Technical Skills elements of Success Profiles. The Behaviors tested during the interview stage will be: Communicating and Influencing Working Together Developing Self and Others Managing a Quality Service Delivering at Pace The Strengths tested during the interview stage will be: Adaptable Efficient Motivator Service Focused Team Player The Technical Skills tested during the interview stage will be: 15 minute Assessment/ Test related to the daily elements of job role - this will take place immediately after the interview. Tests are based on the services the Food, Water & Microbiology Lab offer and how we deliver these to our customers. The candidate will be asked approx. 10 multiple choice questions after listening to an audio file. Selection Process: Eligible to Work in the UK, No Sponsorship available for this vacancy. Feedback will only be provided if you attend an interview or assessment.
