Founded 1993 Company size 501 to 1,000 Revenue £75m to £365m (GBP) Industry Education Link JISC website Jisc (formerly the Joint Information Systems Committee) is a United Kingdom non-departmental public body whose role is to support post-16 and higher education, and research, by providing relevant and useful advice, digital resources and network and technology services, while researching and developing new technologies and ways of working. It is funded by all the UK post-16 and higher education funding councils. We want to make sure our people have the flexibility they need to balance their personal lives and do well at work. The team: In finance we enable Jisc to achieve its strategic objectives by providing prudent and effective financial compliance, management and advice. We are responsible for maintaining Jisc’s solvency and liquidity. This includes all finance and tax matters, reporting, control, budgeting and forecasting at a group, directorate and service levels. We also manage all procurements across Jisc and assist and support the work of colleagues across Jisc. At Jisc we offer hybrid working so you have the flexibility to work from home or if you prefer, from any of our offices. At times you may be required to attend meetings, however there are situations where you may need to work from the office more often, but will be dependent on your role requirement.
